Why Dance Education?

Dance is a form of musical education that encourages children and young adults to express themselves through movement, rhythm, and musical interpretations. As today's most enjoyable form of musical education, it stimulates the mind, exercises the body, and helps to develop one's total personality. From three years of age through adulthood, dance challenges the mind, body, and spirit to enjoy life and to develop mentally, physically and socially. Give dance a try....you'll love it!

Advancement is usually fast and dancers progress quickly. These students have the option to participate in the annual recital, but are not required.

Productionaires

This is a group of advanced and talented dancers who are selected by studio teachers because of their dedication and dance ability to demonstrate dance technique, stamina and commitment to self and others. This is a great opportunity for these dancers to learn advanced routines with students from other studio locations. These dancers are chosen by teacher recommendation and are expected to be a major role in the annual dance recital/production. All productionaires must be in fifth grade or higher. Classes are held separately from their weekly dance lessons and start mid-February through June.
