The Joyce Dance Studio wants to provide these assurances that we are doing all that we can to provide a safe environment.
Joyce Dance Studio Safety Steps
All employees have the option to wear masks during all classes
As of August 1st, 2021 masks for all students will be optional and at the discrepancy of the parents. This follows the CDC guidelines, and the mass.gov rules for youth indoor sports
Students are given hand sanitizer both when entering and exiting the building
Each student is assigned a specific door to enter and exit from
Each student is given their own 3 ft. square area to use as a place to sit to change shoes while they are in the building. Each square is 6 ft. apart from the next square
Each student has their own covered dance barre to use during ballet warmups
The studio floor is marked to keep students 6 feet apart
Upon the end of class, each student square is sanitized, ballet barre is cleaned and reset for the next set of students and the dance room is sanitized (after each tumbling class is over, the mats are also sanitized)
Bathrooms are sanitized between each class
The waiting room will be open to all preschool classes only
Please use social distance while sitting in that area
The instructions will be posted on the exterior entries to the building
These safety steps are followed each and every day that dance classes are held. These practices are necessary to maintain a clean and safe environment for all our dancers and staff. By following these procedures we will continue to share a fun and educational dance experience together. These safety steps may be altered as time passes and guideline and regulations are changed.
